This
is what I considered to be the most spectacular wedding photo
opportunity of my photography career which took place in Vail,
Colorado Sept 2007 with Ian and Jackie. The site was at a location
where the two of them had spent time together and indeed it was a
location that they both loved. The elevation was between 10,000 and
11,000 ft and the weather could not have been more perfect with
temperatures between 60-70 degrees and the sky was as crystal clear
and blue as could be. The pictures don't come close to doing the
actual view justice. I waited for months for this opportunity
and never believed it would turn out as good and go as smooth as it
did. My thank you and sincere appreciation not only goes out to Ian
and Jackie, but to their family and friends. They all made me feel
so welcomed and made me feel like part of their family.
I had 3 goals while I was there. Most importantly was to see that
I succeeded in the greatest wedding photo opportunity of my career.
Secondly, was to get some fly fishing in and finally was to make it
to the top of Pikes Peak.
